چکیده

The aim of the study was to investigate whether negative effects dietary glycinin are linked structural integrity damage, apoptosis promotion and microbiota alteration in intestine orange-spotted grouper (Epinephelus coioides). basal diet (FM diet) formulated contain 48% protein 11% lipid. Fish meal replaced by soybean (SBM) FM diets prepare SBM diet. Two experimental were prepared, containing 4.5% 10% (G-4.5 G-10, respectively). Triplicate groups 20 fish each tank (initial weight: 8.01 ± 0.10 g) fed four across an 8 week growth trial period. had reduced rate, hepatosomatic index, liver total antioxidant capacity GSH-Px activity, but elevated MDA content vs. diets. G-4.5 exhibited maximum G-10 a comparable with that group. down-regulated intestinal tight junction function genes (occludin, claudin-3 ZO-1) (caspase-3, caspase-8, caspase-9, bcl-2 bcl-xL), blood diamine oxidase D-lactic acid endotoxin contents related mucosal permeability, as well number vs abundance phylum Proteobacteria genus Vibrio higher than those receiving other As for expression inflammatory factor genes, diets, pro-inflammatory (TNF-α, IL-1β IL-8) up-regulated, anti-inflammatory (TGF-β1 IL-10) down-regulated. results indicate rather could decrease hepatic ability destroy both profile morphological through disrupting structure intestine, increasing permeability apoptosis. These further trigger reactions even enteritis, ultimately leading poor fish.

Brain Anatomy and Histology of Orange Spotted Grouper (Epinephelus coioides)

This research was carried out to identify the different layers and cells of orange spotted grouper brain for further toxicological experiments and defects brought by xenobiotics during exposure periods. The anatomy and histology of the brain of orange spotted grouper was illustrated and compared to mammals and other fishes. The preserved structures of teleosts brain species were different as com...

Polymorphisms of Leptin-b Gene Associated with Growth Traits in Orange-Spotted Grouper (Epinephelus coioides)

In mammals, leptin has been demonstrated to perform important roles in many physiological activities and to influence development, growth, metabolism and reproduction. However, in fish, its function is still unclear. Duplicate leptin genes, leptin-a and leptin-b, have been identified in the orange-spotted grouper. In the present study, the polymorphisms in the leptin-b gene of the orange-spotte...

Identification and characterization of DSCAM isoforms isolated from orange-spotted grouper Epinephelus coioides.

The Down syndrome cell adhesion molecule (DSCAM), an immunoglobulin (Ig) superfamily member, was first identified from human and subsequently isolated from both vertebrates and invertebrates. Recent studies have shown that the DSCAM molecule serves diverse functions in neurodevelopment, such as axon guidance and neuronal migration. Most studies on DSCAM, however, have focused on mammals and art...

Characterization of c-Jun from orange-spotted grouper, Epinephelus coioides involved in SGIV infection.

The nuclear phosphoprotein c-Jun is a member of the AP1 family of transcription activating complex, can be induced by various extracellular stimuli such as virus infection. In this study, the c-Jun gene (Ec-c-Jun) was cloned from orange-spotted grouper, Epinephelus coioides. The full-length Ec-c-Jun cDNA is composed of 2046 bp and encodes a polypeptide of 328 amino acids with 81% identity of ze...

Complete Genome Sequence of Nervous Necrosis Virus Isolated from Orange-Spotted Grouper (Epinephelus coioides) in Taiwan

The genome sequence of nervous necrosis virus strain KS1 isolated from orange-spotted grouper (Epinephelus coioides) was cloned and analyzed. The viral genome is composed of two single-stranded positive-sense RNA molecules, RNA1 and RNA2. Phylogenetic analysis shows that the virus strain KS1 belongs to the red-spotted grouper nervous necrosis virus genotype.
